Does anyone have an opinion of the relationship of the Chinese Yuan vs. the Thai Baht for the next couple of years.

Is there any realistic possibility that China will let the Yuan float?

Does anyone know what currencies are in the basket that it is evaluated on currently?

In the next few years, yes.

Last I heard, Chinese government officals only released a vague idea of the exact composition of the trade-weighted currency peg. I don't think the THB was in it...if I remember correctly, the USD, JPG, EUR, GBP, AUD were the ones (maybe the S. Korean Wan too)

I'd however imagine the THB and Yuan to be slightly correlated in the future because of the interlocked economies. Thailand will be a great destination for all these (newly) rich Chinese looking for vacation.
