Pinched nerve in shoulder , good doctors , hospital in Bkk or Nontaburi

Hi I have looked on the Internet about my shoulder pain and there are some difference as to what could be casing it.

It is between my neck and right shoulder, I am ok when lying on my back with a small pillow but when I move certain ways it is painful. I went to a local doctor and got some anti inflammatory drugs and am taking Advil . It has helped a bit but I want a professional assessment to see if is nerve damage or tendons .

Any other TV members have a similar problem?

Any doctor recommendations in bkk or nontaburi thanks

Is it a stabbing/burning type of pain that seems to go away when you are standing and moving about? Does the pain radiate outward from neck, across your shoulder and down your arm? I suffered this type of nerve/muscle injury on two occasions due to my incorrectly form when doing military presses with free weights. I had injured some muscle tissue and as it became more inflamed it contracted around the nerve bundle that radiates from your upper spine/neck area outward. Almost impossible to sleep at night despite the use of Ambien and muscle relaxers. The pain did subside eventually as I followed the Doctors orders and took the necessary inflammatory medicines. I too thought at first I had done some serious nerve damage but all tests proved negative. As for a hospital recommendation in Bangkok my go to choice for the past three years is Saint Louis Hospital. Great service, great staff and a price that won't break the bank.

Yes, I have, but that does not necessarily mean the cause in my cause was the same as in yours.

This type of pain is often due to a problem in the cervical spine. I highly recommend Dr. Wichian at the BNH Hospital Spine Center. Although specializing in spine, he will also take care to rule out a problem with the shoulder itself.

It is impossible to be definitive about the OP's source of pain given the limited description.

Based on what the OP says I would be inclined toward suspecting a cervical cause of the pain.

My advise would be to seek an opinion from an orthopaedic specialist who has an interest in spinal disorders.

Best wishes
