How to do the most of my multiple entry visa, advice please.

Featured Replies

Hi, I am first time on turist multiple entry visa.

I would like to knpow how to do the most, how long I can stay here on it, before to get new visa.

Its 3 times Entry visa (got it in London)

Date of issue : 4. Jun 2013

Entered Thailand : 15 Jun 2013

Admited Until : 13 Aug 2013

What date I should do visa run? or I Should go Jomtien Emmigration office and get 30 days extension as I live in Jomtien/Pattaya.

Someone told me before on other forum, I can get 9 months from that visa, all together.

Can You explain me how please

The Visa got Enter Before : 4 DEC 2013, is that means my last entry (3) got to be before 4 dec?

Is that visa got 6 months validity or something?

And where would be best to go to get new multiple entry visa (apart london) smile.png Do they do 3 entries around here? Lao Cambodia, KL? Singapoore?

Or only 2

And I am Polish (poland)

I dont want go for visa in other country and consulate there take my passport for a week so i stuck there, I heard that happened to someone smile.png

Thank You for Help

For long stay you will want to extend for 90 days at immigration sometime before current stay ends (about a week is normal - your 30 days starts at end of current stay so nothing lost doing early. Cost will be 1,900 baht and require TM.7 form with 4x6cm photo. You at end of that time must exit country and return for a new 60 day entry+extension+exit/return for new 60 day entry+extension to complete the about 9 months. Last entry must be made before end of 4 December so a bit before your allowed stay because you did not immediately entry Thailand after visa was issued.

Most places will only issue single entry in the immediate area but Laos located Thai consulate may allow one more 2 entry which would be issued next workday afternoon. Cambodia located consoulate can take up to 4 days (and sometimes more) and would only be single entry.

Savvankhet, Laos, are still doing double entry tourist visa. i was there last week and met an english guy who had travelled over specifically to that consulate, as they still did double entry. his application was successful

:) is it possible ur appl. be unsuccessful?

Yes applications can be unsuccessful but normally they will allow up to five such visas before, maybe, not allowing more. But it can and does very from time to time and person to person. In general it would be them saying do not return for another or a stamp in your passport to not return - this normally would not prevent obtaining a visa elsewhere.

shit so there is visa run limit per place :)

or get new passport and come back :)

thx

Your current or future visas from home country or far away places would not count at the nearby consulates.

Normally you can just go to different location for a visa if you reach the limit at one.

Is it Cambodia doing double entry?

No Cambodia will not issue a two entry. Vientiane is the main provider for 2 entry tourist visas in the area.
