90 Day While Travelling

Featured Replies

If you are traveling far from your home immigration office, can you stop at one where you are and do the 90 day check?

Seems somewhere I heard you can't.

90 reports must be done at the immigration area where you got your extension. Some locations allow mail in reports.

should have done it before leaving or after you return.

I did a 90 day report in Nongkhai although registered at Chiang Khan ,,Loei provinces I disagree with the posters.I would ask at your local office first. While in Nongkhai the officer told me no but think he was hedging for a tip.I had a visa with a work permit for 4 years as a teacher. After I told him where I taught and that the office in Loei told me I could extend ANYWHERE he extended my 90 days 4 days before it was due...My experience...

With proof of staying in their area of responsibility you should be able to do it at another immigration office than where you got your extension.

I always keep it simple and mail it to my own immigration office, away in another province or not.

I'm from Udon Thani and just did my 90 day report in Hua Hin with no problem. I just had to give them the address of where I was staying.

If one can make a 90 report at any immigration office (not what CW immigration told me) can one then just mail the 90 day report to Bangkok (CW) or one of the offices that accept mail reports?

No, you can only mail to the office for the area where you recide. Almost all offices accpet mail-in, as it is allowed by law.

(You could in the past, but it is no longer accepted)

They finally answered their phone (before I made the drive in) and said, no problem, just give them an address for a hotel and I'd be good to go.

Thanks everyone.
