i have a house rented out and i am worried just in case

a fire should start etc, the house is in very good condition

but you can never be sure and i dont want to be liable for

anything that might occur.

any tips on insurance companies just doing fire insurance

or if anything does happen am i liable

Is it rented furnished or unfurnished? If furnished the owner has responsibility, unless specifically mentioned in the lease. The building should of course be insured by the owner. Contents are a matter for leasehold contract.
