July 17, 201313 yr Is there an inexpensive way to ship a couple of boxes of books and miscellaneous items to the US? If I take the things as excess baggage on the flight with me it will probably cost around $500. There must be a better way.
July 17, 201313 yr You can still ship Thailand to USA via surface parcel mail but no longer available USA to Thailand. I still would not call it 'cheap' as you seem to have lots of kgs -- 10 kgs would be 1810 baht -- 20 kgs 3210 baht Edited July 17, 201313 yr by JLCrab

I wouldn't call that exactly cheap either.... but by comparison to the airline's exorbitant excess baggage rates it's very cheap and would be a big savings. Do you know if the post office sells suitable boxes?

Wondering how reliable it is before it hits the 50? And I assume it carries zero tracking or insurance? If you put "air holes" in the box, think they'd look inside?
