PHUKET: A 6-month-old fetus that police believe was dumped at sea washed ashore at Saphan Hin last night.

Police and rescue workers responded to a 10:30pm call and found a crowd surrounding the body at the tip of Saphan Hin park in Phuket Town. Police believe the fetus had been dead for about two days.

Kusoldharm workers took the body to Vachira Phuket Hospital to be examined, said Phuket City Police Capt Rachan Phunwai.

“Because it was dumped in the sea, we assume the mother had an illegal abortion,” said Capt Rachan.

“We are looking for her,” he said.

Not to be mean or cruel but nonsense.

6 month deliveries have been known to happen and the baby was dead when delivered. It is not always an abortion.

For all they know it was a miscarriage by some poor women who had no means to pay for a burial or cremation. For all they know the mother is in agony over loosing the child.

It could have been far different than what they portray or it could be what they say. They have no clue to what really happened and are just playing the emotional side that they want to be seen with to cover up their other activities that they don't want people to see.
