July CEC General Meeting

The next CEC meeting, on Saturday, July 27

will be held at Le Meridien Hotel.

Mr. Pleasant "Dee" DeSpain has traveled the world having adventures and collecting stories. He'll activate and entertain our imaginations with an interactive program of true and traditional tales.

A pioneer in the worldwide renaissance of storytelling, Pleasant "Dee" is the author of 18 award-winning, multicultural story collections. He wrote, produced and hosted "Pleasant Journeys," a children's television show in Seattle, WA for 5 years; and he's been honored by the National Speakers and National Storytelling Associations.

The meeting begins at 10:30 AM, but the hall often

fills up quickly, so plan on arriving at around

10 o'clock to assure you get a good seat.
