Hello, Jamie! * It depends on where you live. City cremations will be cheaper than rural cremations because the monks only pray in the evening. Choose 3 days. That's the minimum. Choose the smallest temple you can find so you only pay 300 Baht to a small number of monks. If you choose a big temple with (50-100) monks, the expense will be high as they might all attend. * My wife's rural cremation might be 60-90,000 Baht cheapest (all 10 temple monks x 300 Baht each morning and evening, 3 days, flowers, and food for the monks and for whoever attends the prayers. * An alternative is to find a Chinese cemetery and buy the smallest plot of land. Digging the grave is included. Have a friend pray for you. Coffin: No more than 10,000 Baht. The headstone is up to what you want. No need for monks, donations, and meals. My plot in a rural Chinese cemetery costs 40,000 Baht. I hope this helps. -
