New CTH Receiver has no smart-card?

So just had CTH installed yesterday, was hoping to be able to use it with a dreambox for PVR - but no smart-card?

Is it built in to the receiver?

Yes, has encryption built into the box.

    Not new, has been used a long time.

    IPM, the GMM-Z and some more boxes all seem to use it.

    Easily crackable too I guess ;-)

    go for it (cracking that is) as this has been the norm now for three + years on most new networks around Asia and not cracked yet ..

    After searching for info on 'CTH iptv' with google all the info could find was in thai but about some E7 boxes, from what I could gather, they would also work with True. Whats that all about are people actually running their own IPTV multiplexers?
