Dieter Floeth at Deutsches Haus on Beach Road offers full day deep sea fishing expeditions. Boat charter for the day is 9000baht for up to 10 persons and Bt 800 per additional person. You can call Dieter on 038 428 725.

Just a point to bear in mind is that the best time to catch the large fish is considered to be from the months of September to March. After March the waters become much hotter and the larger fish tend to go to deeper waters where it is cooler.

Happy fishing :o

thanks, but thats not exactly what I am looking for.....

I am not into fishing myself, just in going a bit to the ilands.

I did it ages ago at Krabi and it was good fun. Go there go somewhere else whereever it looks nice....

I thinking more for 500-1000 Baht amount in total or gasoline+the time or so.

In the south it was always easy, but here I don´t know where to ask....

Edit: I don´t mean a usual tourist thing.

So it`s not a fishing (fisher boat that you are wanting after all)

Then try the guys who hire out the motor boats on Beach Road...you know the ones that go to the islands.

You should get one with a Captain for about bt 3500 or so for the day to meander around the local islands. For a single trip to Ko Larn with Captain waiting say for four hours will be about bt1500 after negotiation.
