Can anyone recomend a decent hotel that is not too expensive and is in the vicinity of the Royal Thai Embassy in KL? Much thanks again.

Depends as to what you define as 'not too expensive' :o

I stay at the Crown Princess, a 5 minute walk from the embassy.

Corus Hotel in Jalan Ampang, same road as embassy, book on the Net, much cheaper.

about Bt 2,000 on asiatravel.com.

Tatty breakfasts though. :o
