Is it OK to use several accounts (e.g. 2 fixed deposit accounts) to show you have over 400k (or 800k) Baht in the bank for non-immigrant visa extension?

Or does it have to be in one account only?

Thanks.

I have been told numerous times both here and at Jomtien immigration that it is OK. However, it certainly does complicate the calculation for seasoning, etc. Personally I have not tried it yet and would be a little afraid of doing so. I think making the officers do more work would not always be received with enthusiasm. I'd like to hear reports of people who have tried it and their success (or failure).
