Tata Youngs Father Died of a Heart Attack

Featured Replies

We got the news from a close friend.

I waited until i was sure that the family knows and don't have to hear it through the internet.

RIP

Is Tata the girl who had the hit: "Boom boom boom, I want you in my room"?

First line, wrong, no it wasn't, it was Venga Boys.

Second line, I agree.

Tata Young sang "dhoom dhoom" which you might be confusing it with. It was an Indian style dance track and I think her biggest hit.

You are probably right. And in hinsight: I apologize for my probably very hurting comment to those involved.

So sad... joking ! Are we really supposed to feel anything ?

Bad news. Farewell Tim, you sure knew how to party.

RIP

I remember a wild night with him in Soi 4 15 odd years ago.

RIP

I first met Tim when we worked for Trans-Asia at Takli AFB back in the early '70s. RIP old friend.

From the Thai press, apparently Tim Young, 67, died suddenly on the evening of the 4th. He was reported as having had a recent history of heart disease.
Tim Young had arranged to meet a friend at his apartment in Silom but when the friend came round he found Tim unconscious on the floor. He friend gave him cardiac massage and emergency services were called but he was pronounced dead on arrival at nearby BNH hospital.
His daughter, Tata, was in New York at the time and is preparing to fly back to Thailand.

Tim was a good friend. I met him in the early '80s thru Pat Landry when he was with Tosco. My condolences to Amita.

Very sad news. He was a great guy. When I moved here he was the first person in Bangkok ever to strike up a conversation and welcome me with a few drinks on his tab. He didn't have to but he did.

Condolences to Tata. He will be missed.

RIP TIM :-(
