It's a bit of a pain. It's almost a necessity to have a Thai speaker with you. You go into a big room with dozens of others and potentially wait hours for your turn. I got there at 7am and was seen at 10 or so. Cost was super cheap. But it was a long process.

Not sure how they do with the more complicated stuff though.
