Kris ... that's my understanding also ... only Citizens of a Country are allowed to vote.

Alternative, contact your sitting member ... they will set your clear on the matter.

I assume she doesn't but, since she has a tfn and is about to be paid the baby bonus though I'd ask. Maybe taking David's advice can't hurt. Thanks.

The only foreign nationals who are allowed to vote in Australia are Commonwealth citizens who were enrolled to vote before Jan 25, 1984.
