sonthaya Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 Stop crying, the price in Denmark for 1 l 95 octane has just passed 70 bath a liter
edd Posted April 14, 2006 Author Posted April 14, 2006 I am not crying about the price in Thailand, in the uk its 62 Baht/ ltr. Now i am crying every time that i fill the car up
bioxx750 Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Bio-fuel is the answer, I guess. Hemp would be the answer. But that won't happen thanks to the oil coops in the USofA's Thai tv said that Diesel. is now 38 Baht / liter blink.gif diesel 38 a litre sounds strange.
PeaceBlondie Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Maybe they said 38 baht/liter and they meant 28. So, isn't diesel almost the same price as 91 octane petrol now? I noticed that Lemon Green's 95 octane gasohol is 1.5 baht cheaper than their 91 octane petrol. Sounds like a bargain, especially if it's any cleaner than the 91 octane stuff.

I've got a bit of a thread running in the Isaan regional and business forums about this - possbly should have posted it here in the first instance. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=66022 and http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=66021

What I was trying to say is that the only reason why cannabis is illegal are those american oil multis.

What I was trying to say is that the only reason why cannabis is illegal are those american oil multis. Ahhhh cannibis... the wonder plant. Everyone seems to think that it can make everything, cure anything and even promote world peace. I too agree that it has medicinal and manufacturing benefits. The main problem with it is that the main promoters of cannibis use are the smokers. The smokers try to find every possible use for it so that it can be legalized and thereby making it easier for smokers. I wish that it could be promoted for it's value and forget the drug part of it. For those that are merely wanting to smoke the weed, they can go to Amsterdam, or about any of the Balkan countries. In the Balkans it grows wild all over the place and predominantly on river banks. There you can smoke it, eat it, have sex with it, whatever, as long as you don't sell it. Bio-fuels will be successful because they are needed and they're cleaner burning. You'll notice that many of the oil companies and auto producers are working hard at finding alternative fuel methods these days. I wish people would quit pointing the finger and start pointing out solutions. I tell my people that work for me, quit telling me how bad you have it, tell me how we can make it better. It's easy to find fault, it's harder to find a viable solution...
barryofthailand Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Gasahol might be cheaper but is not as eficient as gasoline. So you might think you are getting a deal but will not go as far. Barry
corkscrew Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Stop crying, the price in Denmark for 1 l 95 octane has just passed 70 bath a liter I was in the US (Florida) a couple of weeks ago and the price was $2.95 per gallon....which is about the same as 28 baht per litre. Maybe a little less here.

It's easy to find fault, it's harder to find a viable solution... Amen to that. If I think of the hassles we've had to get this far, the partners that gave up along the way. The way I see it is that if it was easy then everyone would do it. Bio-fuels are now here to stay, big oil has embraced them (just look at Shell buying up all sorts of oilpalm plantations in Indonesia and building massive storage facilities in Germany and Holland.)
