To call outside Thailand you have to use a prefix number, 001/005/009 are three examples that I have used,

there are more, then your country code eg. 44 for UK then area code then number but as I have no idea what

a 1800 number is my answer to your question is I have absolutely not got the foggiest.

1800 being USA free phone (toll free) number?

0800 is UK freephone number.

Others might know better for the USA itself but CAT telecom cards will call a UK freephone number. They charge a minimal amount.

May be the same with the USA. IF you get no better info it might be worth a try.

As far as I am aware the difference between the prefixes is purely cost. I don't know which is cheaper as I tend to

use the one that get me through quickest which is probably the more expensive one but I am by no means sure of

this. This is info from my missus. wai.gif

Just found out True uses 006

When I tried to ask the girl at the counter what is the difference, it seemed the Relativity Theory would have been easier to explain.
