where to find picknick barbecues?

I'm looking for a simple picknick bbq - visited BigC and Tesco today and didn't find anything suitable.

BigC had two very cheap "devices" who looked like they would fall over easily or make the food fall too easily in addition of probably breaking after a couple of uses.

Here are some examples of picknick bbq:

many on that page are interesting, I am particularly interested in models similar to the following:

the "suitcase bbq" seems particularly interesting!

any leads on where in Pattaya I could find similar bbq?

I checked the bbq store on thepprasit, but they only seem to stock big bbq.

I have seen this type (The 73mm BBQ Lang one in your first link) in many different "market type stores" all over Pattaya. You know the ones that you can buy everything from a fan, laundry rack, plates to Screwdrivers and bunji chords. They are usually out front closer to the soi when you find these stores.

One I know has them is just across the railway tracks on SSCC on your right heading up SSCC.

No problems. If you were going up SSCC just after you cross the tracks right there on the right. It is almost on the intersection but there is a small motorcycle repair shop beside it.

1,600 baht is pricey?

Anyways glad you found what you were looking for.

For a small, portable BBQ for the beach, yes.

Also considering such things sell for around 20 to 30 USD internationally and for roughly the same price or less in Switzerland...

Oh, and they originally wanted 2200 THB!!

the bbq is 30cm wide and about 45cm high <deleted>.
