Hello everyone

It is now three years since I juggle with tourist visa to stay in Thailand.

But here, I denied my last. My life is here and I do not know what to do for a long stay visa. I currently have 15 days.

So if anyone has a solution to offer me.

Thank you in advance

OK.

Without more details about you, if you under 50 or over 50 and not financially qualified for retirement extensions, your best bet to stretch your stay for some years more is probably with the education visa option. Typically people study Thai only 4 hours a week though it is not limited to that, and of course you need to attend a qualified (with immigration) school. If you are over 50 and have the money or income, then retirement extensions would allow you to stay indefinitely.

Plenty of people here to help you with the details about that, not me.

My first question though is whether you live in a Thai locality that has language schools approved by immigration for ED visa purposes?

I assume like most you'd be interested in the 4 hour Thai language study option.

Any large expat oriented city has them of course.

I'll let a person with ED visa specific knowledge to assist you further.

Good luck.

The ED-visa requires that you study about 4 hours a week at a school, which program has been approved by he Thai education ministry. Most people study Thai language, as those mostly are approved. But the ED-visa is not limited to that, you can study other things. The school will be able to tell you if you can get an extension of stay with them.

Click on the banner of a language school at the right of the screen. That will give you some more info about the ED-visa.
