Government Chief whip believes the budget bill will sail through final reading

BANGKOK, 15 August 2013 (NNT)-Government Chief Whip Amnuay Klangpha has said he is satisfied with yesterday's debate on the 2014’s budget allocation draft bill, expressing confidence that the bill will make it through the final reading on Friday.

Mr. Amnuay said both the government and the Opposition mainly focused on the contents of the bill during the debate, which ended on Thursday morning at 2 am. As for today’s session, section 4 of the bill, which contains the contents regarding the 300 billion baht central budget, will be deliberated.

According to Mr. Amnuay, he has always coordinated with the Opposition Whip to make sure that the debate on the bill does not become redundant for the rest of the day. He also expected the 3rd reading to be completed on Friday before noon.
