ESCAPIS
Has anyone come across Chard in Thailand? If so, do you know what I should be asking the market for in Pasa Thai?

market trader
I have looked for it here also for a few years. Much easier to grow than spinach and tolerates hot weather. Another advantage to chard when you are growing it. You can take a pair of scissors and cut it to within 1" or 2.5 cm's of the earth and it grows back very quickly. Whenever I go to shops that sell vegetable seeds I look for it but so far no luck. Another vegetable I cannot find here is arugula which is great for giving a nice peppery taste to a salad. rice555
Hello All, chard/Swiss chard that I've grown(Korat) is the Ruby Red(rhubarb), Fordhook Giant(large white stem), a smaller white stem Lucullus, but not have tried bright lights which comes in a mix of 3 colors usually. rice555
