i spend my money in Thailand. That helps the local economy. Impossible to track the affect.

I made a difference for:

ME: When I came 16 years ago I was diagnosed with coronary artery blockage, was having severe angina and was scheduled for surgery. I took early retirement, cancelled the surgery, flew to LOS and threw my meds away after about 2 weeks. I've been here 16 years, am still alive and have not had any heart pain so I guess moving here made a difference for me!

MY THAI FAMILY: I now have a Thai family and without going into details, I think that I have made a difference for them.

I have assisted several exceptional young Thai students win Thai government scholarships and be accepted to universities overseas both for undergraduate and graduate studies. All are totally blind.

I have sponsored several sick buffalo in Issan and have helped numerous girls pay their college tuition.

Seems I helped a young lady with the deposit on her first truck, along with a few other guys each night, and now she has a small fleet of trucks
