90 day stamp for multi non imm b

Featured Replies

I did a 90 day border run for my non imm b visa today and the immigration lady screwed up the stamp upon my re-entry. The visa stamp is valid until nov. 20 whist the departure card was stamped nov 10. Would it be safe to stay until nov 20 or should I play it safe and report to the border nov 10? I would hate to fork over 5000 baht. lol

Leave on the 20th you will be on overstay.

Leave on the 10th.

Edit:

Did my sums wrong.

20th November is 90 days.smile.png

There should be a visa date (on the Consulate issued visa for use before) and then you should have obtained a stamp in your passport for a new 90 day stay as permitted to stay until of about November 20 if done today so as long as you have that stamp on a passport page you should be fine. Have no idea how your departure card would have a different stamp but suppose the number could have slipped one digit. In any case as long as the passport stamp is right you should be fine.

I will take my passport to the local immigration office to get their recommendation. I've never heard of this happening to anyone else before. Wish I was able to catch the mistake while I was at the border.
