Featured Replies

In the light of all which ails this country this article goes beyong insanity. Tax payers money is being used to pay for such lunacy. The inmates are truly running the institution.

A better title would have been:

"Health Min concerned over cell phone effects on physical and mental health"

Social media destroys social life.....

WRONG..... application like Line or anything doesn't cause Accidents....

Stupid People Causes accidents...

so stop blaming the applications..

Excellent post.

I was sitting next to a thai family of 5 in a restaurant in North Pattaya a few months back. Not one word transpired between them throughout the entire meal, all being engrossed in their I-Phones. Darwin will have his way, and tongues are on the way out, along with all social skills sad.png

I am more concern about the road safety than the cell phone issue. I wonder if the Ministry of Health will make a statement over that.

I agree with you fully...!!!

This is a general trend in most countries I visit but I do agree that it seems to happen at extreme levels in Thailand... even when walking through a shopping mall I see lots of Thais with their faces buried in a cellphone screen... I will possibly be criticized for saying this but imho the Thais are not the greatest conversationalists I have encountered..

If Thai TV doesn't fry brains then I harbour doubts that a PC will.
