Banharn expects reform plan by Dec

BANGKOK: -- THE ROADMAP for national reform should be ready by December, former PM Banharn Silpa-archa said yesterday.

"However, it won't be easy to introduce reforms as the causes of political conflicts are complex," said Banharn, who played a prominent role in the national reform forum on Sunday.

He will be meeting leaders of the opposition Democrat Party, yellow-shirt co-leader Sondhi Limthongkul as well as senior public figures such as Prawase Wasi to brief them on the reform roadmap when he returns from a trip to China on September 6.

Banharn is chief adviser of the Chart Thai Pattana Party.

He will now serve as the coordinator of the national reform initiative, responsible for pushing for the creation of a roadmap for politics, economy and society.

More window dressing, more complete and utter BS.

Why wait until December to publish ? I t could be done almost straight as we can guess what the main points will be and no matter how PTP dance around the issue there's no disguising how they see the future and what they want for themselves, Mr. t and the nation.

nothing complex about it. Just make charges against Thaksin and bring him to justice instead of trying to white wash him.wai2.gif
