East Pattaya Murder suspect in custody

PATTAYA:--The suspect wanted in connection with the murder of a 37 year old Thai Woman, who was married to a 73 year old Englishman has now been arrested in Trat Province and overnight was taken back to Pattaya to face charges of murder.

On Friday Morning at the scene of the alleged murder, Police Major General Katcha, the Provincial Police Commander, oversaw a reconstruction of the incident with the suspect, Khun Wandee aged 34. Checks revealed the suspect is a Cambodian National, living with her family in Trat just over the border from her native country.

She was arrested on Thursday at her brother’s house where the 20cm long knife, thought to have been used by the suspect to kill the victim, was recovered.

The suspect revealed she was caught up in a “Love Triangle” involving the victim, Khun Kunlanit, and her English Husband
