Obtaining Interview transcript for appeal

Featured Replies

Hi

Anyone got any experience how easy this is? I understand the embassy have to release this if you ask. I am appealing a visa refusal but obviously only have 28 days to do so, however clearly the transcript plays a big part in any appeal etc, however despite numerous emails to embassy and VFS (VFS have confirmed embassy have received the email) I have heard nothing, I have also tried ringing the embassy but seems to be impossible to get to speak to anyone other than an operator that just directs me back to VFS

I stand to be corrected on this by those more knowledgeable than I, such as TonyM, but I understand that you do not need all the evidence when you submit the notice of appeal and it can be submitted later.

I say this because the notice must be submitted within the deadline.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge on this subject will be along soon to advise.

The Embassy will supply a copy on the request of the visa applicant not the sponsor. They will also supply it to a legal representative if the details have been notified to them.

You don't have to supply any evidense or even give the reason for the appeal. Get the appeal in then collect the evidense.

In the OP's case the applicant is a child.

So presumably the sponsoring parent asks for this, not the child?

In my case I got my wife to apply to the Embassy. I think I got her to go in person to avoid any "we never got the application BS"
