Thai Word For "Grass"

Featured Replies

maybe ขี้ฟ้อง, if it indicates a character trait.

Kee Fong. - Will give that a try - many thanks.

I would translate this:

a person, usually a criminal, who tells the police about other criminals' activities

as:

สาย(ลับ)ตำรวจ

which means an (secret) informant for the police. I mostly hear it without "ลับ"

Grass is synonymous with being an informant; one of a criminal persuasion who chooses to divulge information about other criminals or criminal intent to law enforcement.

There goes the neighborhood... if it hasn't gone already.

I would not recommend that the OP uses this term to anyone unless he is willing to physically back it up or has the evidence to back it up if aimed at another....

Kee Fong was the word I was looking for - and don't worry folks, it was for my 9-year old step daughter. clap2.gif

I use khee fong ขี้ฟ้อง a lot in the classroom when some kid is trying to grass up a classmate quietly playing on his phone.

LOL. She'll "grass" on me if my girlfriend says something and I stick my tongue out at her behind her back, or shake my fist at her. I'm just joking about.
