Popular Post EyesWideOpen
Looks to me like medical tourism if the Malaysian " gangsters" are coming into Thailand to have tattoos removed. A number of years ago there was a big crime crackdown in Indonesia. One of the ways the police there used to round up criminals was to identify them by tattoos. Clearly Malaysia is doing the same thing, so time to get rid of those tattoos. TAT should be rejoicing at this new market.....

lemoncake
A silly question but in 2015, once ASEAN is in effect, could gangsters work in other countries?
Popular Post bigbamboo
A silly question but in 2015, once ASEAN is in effect, could gangsters work in other countries? I'm not sure. But if so then no doubt Thailand will look to become the regional hub.

WhizBang
Thailand warns of tough legal action against foreign gangsters Does this include the Russian gangsters in Pattaya and Phuket? I will guess it does not apply to the Thai gangsters, most of whom are police anyway.

reiltin
One law for everybody surely, penalty based on offence not nationality..but as this is a cake and eat it society- access to and compartitive justice vary wildly...recently tourist courts have been mooted-again very ominous.. Thailand isn't a signatory of many international jurist norms as it is-eg no stenographer the presiding judge merely scribbling what HE thinks is worth noting...thus no transcripts or records for future appeals ...What little rights we have are irksome to them, they'd rather we had none-just the way it is.
