Hi, i have not got a full 2 years of letters with my address on, i only changed my address from my moms about 14 months ago. i rented a place to get my wife's visa because my moms was too small, i explained on the application in bangkok that i would be keeping my addresses at my moms because if the visa was granted we would moved to a house when my wife arrived and we got the visa no probs. the main reason i didn't change the address was that i run a small business and didn't want to keep changing addresses. i didnt even know about keeping letters i was just happy to get the visa. foolish i know

ive only got for the following for the start of her arrival, council tax, electric, water, doctors registration, virgin media, house agreement but these are only a few i got when i first moved in both homes most are on prepayment meters etc, so i don't get monthly statements

all my main bank, business, etc i have got since last june when i changed everything over after being settled in our 2nd rented home

And only the council tax is in joint names

my wife got a lot more letters etc than me for the first 10 months or so

Do you think this will be ok , getting a bit worried now, got the checking service next week

You can't magic up what you haven't got, Dave.

Use the best of what you have and explain, succinctly and concisely, any long gaps.

You only need six documents anyway. That's three for the first year and three for the second. Ideally use documents in both your names, but documents in just your wife's are accepted.

i moved in the first home in march 2011 so i got the house agreement, welcome letters from water, electric, tv, home insurance all dated in march & april 2011 then a few late payment reminder letters in june, october, november 2011 for 1st house

moved to second house in december 2011 got house agreement, gas, electric, virgin media, all dated in december

medical card jan 2012, electric feb 2012, water april 2012

then have loads from june 2012 to present day

Put in four for first year and four for second if you so wish, but you will meet that particular requirement with six over two years either way.

Try not to get too absorbed in one facet of the application and make sure that you've dotted the i's and crossed the t's over the entire application.
