Bump, as I would also be interested.

Edit : Just notice that a spreader as pictured in the OP goes for ONLY 51.831 Bht on Ebay. ( lowest priced result )

Of course for that price they can't include shipping laugh.pnglaugh.png

That's what I was saying, but Pdaz didn't get my gist, he thought it was 51 Baht.

I was a lawn specialist and did as much as I could distributing fertiliser by hand. These things will either: overlap, thus burning the lawn, or underlap, leaving yellow stripes down the middle of the lawn. I did have an expensive piece of stuff for large areas. Up to you if you think you can't get along without one, but I recommend measuring out the amount needed for your lawn and, starting with one half of the fertiliser, go one way, then going at right angles to this with rest. You will soon find out how to do it. Don't do it like the Thais, they just throw it, I am sure you can find something on You tube to show you. Flick left and right.

I , also would recommend spreading the fertilizer by hand unless it is an area the size of a playing field. I use a figure eight type hand action to get the even coverage , something i was taught by the old gardeners and greenkeepers when i was young. I have seen some people use string lines to get the straight lines and even coverage but if you line yourself up with a marker across the other side of the turf area then and keep your eye on it so you walk straight then you should not have too many problems with over or underlapping.
