The Bus Bar, what's the vibe?

Passed by the River Mkt. the other day and saw a new outdoor bar by the river, (near iron bridge) made from a bus a van and some tables, looked like it might be a fun place, anybody been there? Are there any snacks, bar food available?

Been there about a year now I think. They used to be behind Carrefour. I went by for a beer a few months ago and it was really quiet. But they have been promoting a lot lately and when I've passed by recently (including last night) it was quite busy.

Went there on the 4th of July, it was a mix of Thai's and foreign backpackers/travelers.

Usually when it's a mix one side wins out. Meaning it will end up mostly Thai or a backpacker bar.

I've wondered the same. Looks like it would have been just my kind of place, back in the day but then I used to think the Kho san road was the best place in Thailand, back in the day.

Went there once a week or two ago, and can't see any reason to go back.
