Still within the 3 years warranty , but not looking forward to a expensive trip to WD service centre in Panthip Bangkok.... I'm up north too , but I don't think WD has a service centre here. Second WD that bailed out on me in 2 years... sucks. I read the Seagates are even worse. And my favorites , Samsung , merged with seagate... Don't know what to buy anymore!
