Help! looking for a place to live in Thailand - Pattaya sucks for a couple

Featured Replies

We have a place in South Pattaya that is over budget - but will easily accommodate a roommate to smooth that over.

I'm no expert in things Thailand (My wife saves my life every day by not letting me get run over crossing the $@$#$ street or disappearing in the cavernous potholes in the sidewalk).

But -- I do suggest you find a Realtor to help with the rental search. Landlord pays commission.

I am very interested in what you find, as we are only familiar with Pattaya, & points farther north like Nakon Sawan and Chumphae - Pu Pa Man.

good luck

You've been in Thailand for a few years and never went outside Pattaya ? blink.png

Krabi, Phang nga, Koh Chang, are nice. About the prices I don't know. Should check online.

I never said that. Thailand is a big country and there's much to discover... Never been in the south yet, can't say no to some advice.

But if you really want peace and quiet and green, with internet etc. You will need to increase your budget to >65k/month for rent.

Silly asking prices. Who dreams them up? And who in his right mind would actually pay that much? This is Pattaya, not Singapore.

great deal for anyone out there with a 50K budget. way too high end for OP. he needs to get himself much closer to the gutter
