Comparing it to a Maserati is a bit over the top I think.

It doesn't looks very mean, how much horse power 200?

It's not rocking my boat, if I wanted (read: could afford) a sports car, I want something with min 300-400 horses and not a "woman" sports car.

Sorry but that my opinion.

Are you guys seeing the same scrunched up picture I am? It looks like a clown car..

Picture is not loading in your browser. But the hatch back does still look like a clown car.

Well yes the original image is not taken from a good angle and has not been resized correctly so is out of proportion. Yes for anyone too lazy to look at other images it does look a bit weird.

One has to treat many things in life as a teaser or catalyst for further investigation if one is interested and not take everything one sees at face value. As the say the camera can lie.

front facia looks attractive, yet I thought the trade off for the reduced visability of a high belt line was a better looking car. Didnt happen with this im afraid, not suprised considering mazdas ladyboy twist on Ford's tough looking ranger.

That's the problem, I'm not REALLY interested in clown cars from any perspective..

Sorry, must be missing something, is this a piss take? It has Mazda emblems on it..

it might just be my eyes, but i fail to see resemblance beyond the number of wheels and doors between this mazda 3 and masarati.

oh, just realised that the first letter of each is "M"...

it wouldnt be fair to choose...just too obvious the pick.

to me these look much closer......... did the Korea designer go to Mazda ? anyway think in pictures the new 3 look much better then the preset one..

RX8 is more on par with a Maserati that is providing anything Mazda makes is and it were still in production or the promised new 2014 was actually going to be produced.

2014-mazda-rx-8.jpg

As I'm posting this up I've now noticed that this is the same body as pictured in the previous post, it seems they've retained the body and chassis but dumped the skyactive rotary? Is that what I'm seeing or is that just another jpeg of an Rx8 concept not to be produced?

Edit. Nope, I see now it doesn't have the rear suicide doors so it's not exactly the same body but still VERY close.

"The Japanese Maserati (Ghibli)" cum on, you are joking right? What you are looking at is a bread and butter Mazda 3 with a new look.

If not interested in clown cars why even mention it in the first place. A failed attempt at humour? The make and model of the car is plain to see. Actually all that has been done is the removal of the body crease between the front and rear fenders and a bit of massaging and the nose is longer.

Except you don't see what's pictured on MY browser... With the picture strangely distorted for some unknown reason the car is not at all distinguishable..
