bangkokpoppys Posted September 17, 2013 Share Posted September 17, 2013 Please assist if you can on a snake ID. Snake was definitely green but had a dark back. Was 1 metre long. I say was! Didn't look like a true Pit Viper (not green enough) though looked more like a Golden Tree Snake from Siam-Info - but green. wayned Posted September 17, 2013 Share Posted September 17, 2013 Golden tree snake. Very aggressive if cornered but not venomous unless you are allergic. They have rear fangs so they must "chew" to get the venom in. I've been bitten numerous times protecting them from my dogs when they strayed in my house, I usually go get my welding gloves when I have to get rid of one but never kill them. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
