Popular Post Thaddeus
However Governments are responsible for protecting their people and assets from systemic flooding. This is what the present 350 billion suit of flood prevention projects is all about. Tell me more, I'd love to know.. They used to build houses on stilts here, didn't cost much, at least not that much, kept the snakes out as well. But the snakes are wearing suits now.
noitom
Do the Japanese concur that their industrial parks are safe? Maybe so, at the expense of residential areas. Leave it to the Thais to secure and watch over their own people.
ib1b4
Well, now this is mimicking a few years ago quite closely. Anyone know the rainfall data for the North the last few months? MonthRain.htm
boomerangutang
When will they learn? They're still powering boat motors 'to push the floodwater out to sea.' They'd have as much luck chanting a mantra, or waving their arms and amulets. People selling fossil fuels don't mind selling all that added fuel, though. Even if the sellers knew it was a bogus plan, do you think they would let on - to the dummies buying fuel for their boat motors? ikke
You gotta feel for the poor folks in these areas. They must be sick of flooding . . . . and the loose promises that have followed each year that it won't happen again. Hope they learn something from it and vote smart on the next election. h, what is voting smart, vote for the Thai English man that never did anything than stealing the budget of drainage programs , or for this government who really invested in the drainage and water management ??
