Please,

is anybody there who can give me some information about the following?

I am Italian and I would like to apply for a non immigrant work visa B, for working as a teacher in Thailand. In the work contract that I present to the Thai embassy in Italy do I have to state a certain minimum salary? Won't I get the visa if the salary that I'll get is not enough?

(I heard that for European citizens, the minimum salary can't be lower than 50.000 BATH per month. Does it apply to teachers too?).

Moreover, does the company in Thailand which would like to employ me have to have a certain capital?

I would be extremely grateful to you if you could answer!!!!! I need to know as urgently as possible. //email removed//

First it don't apply to teachers in govt. schools for the extension. Also the salary of 50K is only for the extension of stay based on business not the work permit or the visa from the Embassy.

The school must have 2 million Baht register capital per work permit ( unless one of the foreigners are married to a Thai than its 1 million Baht)

Hello,

thank you for your reply.

I'd like to have some clarifications. I tell you exactely what my case is:

I am Italian and I would like to apply to a Thai Embassy for a non-immigrant visa B. My future employer is a "Nature and Culture Limited Partnership", and I will provide English language training in their Partnership.

In this case, do I need my contract to state a minimum salary of 50 K BATH? And does the Partnership need to have 2 million BATH registered capital per work permit?

Thank You in advance for your clarifications!
