Hey guys, this is great, couldnt be happier for you both. Having a child is the greatest gift you can have, what you have done is double it, twice as much love is a true blessing.

I'm hearing you ... I'm also the youngest (but not a TWIN).

I reckon we could get away with more stuff ... what do you think?

Congrats David... now remember, when you do your calculations, don't forget to double it... that´s what my cousin did when he and the mrs were expecting twins ;)

David &Miss farm Girl

The closeness that twins experience is unique. Growing up in the same family, and the same age, they are in a unique position to share perspectives on life. On the other hand, many twins experience a need for space. They may find their close relationship to be stifling. Depending on their personalities they may be the best of friends or worst of enemies. Their closeness having the potential to both bring them together or separate them as far as possible from each other. Good Luck .

Great news. Congratulations to you both. :-)

Get some sleep in while you can and don't forget to insist on MFG breastfeeding for as long as possible...it gets you out of those middle of the night feeds ;-)

Don't worry. IME, the first 33 years are the worst (my son turned 33 last month.)

Hope it is two little farmgirls....two more David48s may be a little too much.

Ha Ha ...

Actually, you are correct, that is what she is hoping for.

We have no idea.

I'll let her (MissFarmGirl) know you posted that ... she'll get a buzz.

Humph ... no more David48's ... ermm.gif ... grumble, grumble...

The next few years of your life are going to be amazing. I envy you. When my daughter comes to visit, I pull out the photo albums and reminisce about the sweetest child who ever existed. Then she asks for another loan.

Just wait to till she asks you to babysit for the sweetest child that ever existed....then you will know it was worth it.

Honestly, neither of us have had kids before.

We both agree that breast feeding is the best option.

As for the nappies.

We are caught there.

My best friends in my home country, where we will live own a major Nappy Import business ... but we are both leaning towards cloth nappies.

I'll let the Boss decide that one.

We are a Team ... but that decision is hers.

Then tell her that was the neighbours kid....

WWith the twins....for a few months buy a washing machine..hire a nice girl for a few months to run it and help clean up so farmgirl can spend time with the offspring.

Yeah we did the old fashioned way....never regret not polluting the environment with tons of crap that lasts for decades......kids can start their life with a better environmental background and not even know it.

What I hate the most is waste and, while 'disposables' are convenient and a great product ... say when you go for a Family Picnic etc ... where the disposables are indefensible.

But ... her decision ... but our discussions to date are cloth nappies ... anyone got heaps to lend?
