driedmango
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows about inflatable boats in thailand, like a small zodiac type dingy and small outboard for coastal cruises.. not offshore just putzing around.. I am wondering if they make cheaper inflatables in thailand or if they are expensive there, also small outboards in good condition.. Thanks
Rooo
Pretty sure the guy that owns the fireworks shop in Lamai ring road has got an outlet somewhere, pretty cheap of what I heard but don't know the quality.

everydaysthesame
Ive been looking into this myself. Theres a guy in phuket selling aluminum hulled hypalon dinghys for a really good price. Apparently you need hypalon rather than PVC in this weather or it wont last. http://www.andamanboatsales.com/ P' Jack on the ring road at the junction with the nikki beach turning always has loads of 2nd hand small outboards. loeuftok
Yes PVC don't last long, need regluing after just a few years. Hypalon is slightly better.
