Mekong Bob
Anyone know "cedar plank salmon"? I'd like to grill salmon fillets on a cedar plank on my barbecue (gas) grill. If not cedar wood, maybe hickory, mesquite, cherry, or lamyai. Is there a place in Chiang Mai you can recommend that sells aromatic wood for such a purpose? Planks or chips? Thank you. dvg
You can buy several "tastes"off woodchips at Homepro and at Rimping.
junglechef
Or wood at any lumber shop, it's really more of a gimmick that looks nice for presentation as smoking will impart much more flavor
