DonaldBattles Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Keep on dreaming. First I would like to see the potholes in the roads filled. Where is the money? 2
harrry Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Keep on dreaming. First I would like to see the potholes in the roads filled. Where is the money? Especially on the road that runs up past the airport allready...there are more holes than bitumen and it is a new road. Presumably that is the one they will run the bus on. 1

It starts with the asphalt road, and then the longer term will involve being covered by local vendors. No room for rail transit. Edited September 24, 2013 by bangarang
DonaldBattles Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 This is one of the craziest things that has ever been put out to the public here to promote some political situation. If you believe this this BS will ever be delivered in our lifetime then you need to have another bottle of Lao Khao. Notice that the Central Government who controls the vote and money has never said anything about this project. When you see a press release from the PM's Office you might be able to put a little confidence in this nonsense. However, history has shown that she won't be around long enough to follow through. The best we can pray for is that they will fill the potholes in the roads which are everywhere. Also many of the traffic lights only work half of the time. This is like during a previous election that a pretty lady with a purple dress on posted billboards all over the province saying that the train is coming. SUPER BAH FOR CRAZY PEOPLE TO BELIEVE! We are going to get nothing! 1
Chicken George Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Maybe a 4 lane road that starts and finishes 100metres away! They are not potholes now but Craters!! Howmany motorcycle riders have been put in hospital so far this rainy pothole season!!!!!
villagefarang Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Standard operating procedure seems to be, Thailand puts forth a plan of some sort, followed by the usual suspects launching histrionic cries that it will never happen. I chucked my crystal ball out the window years ago, and have adopted a wait and see attitude. 1
umbanda Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Oh.no! They will fill the road holes in Bandu ???? I do not like that!..I am planning in start my fish farming operation using them......
villagefarang Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Well ,It's nice to think about Agreed, it is fun to think about the “what ifs”, or even discuss possible outcomes, but a little silly for anyone to claim they have the inside track on what will or will not happen.
harrry Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 (edited) It is a bit strange though that this proposal was raised a couple of weeks after it was stated the CM will have a monorail which appears to be the floating of a proposal from a monorail firm rather than an actual decided or under active consideration plan. Now just when is the kite season in Chaingrai? Edited September 26, 2013 by harrry
