Is there a recommended drapery shop in Pattaya.

Featured Replies

Today I went to a drapery shop on Theprisit and picked out some fabric for Draperys at my condo. We agreed to meet at my condo in one hour to measure the windows. After an hour, I called her and she told me "so solly I be there in 30 min." After 45 min I called again and she said "so solly but I not come". I hung up and now looking for someone dependable. Any suggestions for a good drapery shop? Thanks

Yes, I can highly recommend the lady who runs a shop located in two places. Her main shop is on Sukumvit going North right before you get to Ban Amphur and is next to a shop that sells fishing supplies.(see attachment)

She also has another shop at the entrance to the detached building between Big C (South) and Home Works / Staples. Just go up the stairs and her shop is immediately to your left at the entrance

As well as Bangsuan's detailed post - you could try Jim Thompson fabrics at their shop beside Home Pro behind Big C South.

Yes, the name Jim Thompson rings expensive alarm bells - but if you want good fabric for furniture or curtains, good measuring and the fitting - they are not really expensive at all.

Thank you Langsuan and Stoffel! Those are great leads and I will check them out today.

One on Sukhumvit almost across from Theppriset rd on the East side of sukhumvit. Cant think of the name but it's almost at the T intersection.

Gone: "One on Sukhumvit almost across from Theppriset rd on the East side of sukhumvit. Cant think of the name but it's almost at the T intersection."

I agree with Gone. I rember using this shop a few years ago, and they did excellent work at reasonable cost. It's the only drape shop in the area.
