Is it possible to make money with a PayPal acount?

Featured Replies

On google and YouTube just looking some videos where people open a PayPal acount and make money with different ways, 5 cent fee to the bank then open and close again!

So the better idea make money with the exchange rate for example

I will send 1000€ from my first PayPal acount to thai PayPal acount!

On next day euro go down a half bath,

If I remember right PayPal refound the sending fees when money was refounded right?

In my calculation of 1000€

Total win is around 500 bath, did someone try this out?

I think it should realy work!

PayPal charges. This is poor man's forex (forex is not an easy game to make money in for the uninitiated - and very hard for tiny money like 1000Euros where charges will eat up any profit and add to the cost of losses). As with all get-rich-quick schemes, if they worked then the discoverer would be using them, not selling books and videos about them!

You will probably find that refunding the amount paid from account to account where forex is concerned, will be reimbursed at the same amount (local currency both ends) as sent - with PayPal absorbing the differences.

One tenth of one percent return IF the currency goes your way (assuming this scheme even works as said). Forget little scams you discover on YouTube or wherever. Put your money in a low fee broad index mutual fund or ETF instead.

Khun Sandman! You are no doubt a future Nobel-prize Winner in economics! whistling.gif

Have you considered offering your services to the PT-government. If they test your theory big scale, they don't have to borrow for their infrastructure projects!rolleyes.gif

This of course assumes that the currency swing is in your favour the next day.

The second weak spot is that you need a lot of money deposited to trump the FX spread on Paypal.

Good grief. Good good grief.

No you can't and if you kept switching money between PayaL accounts you would find theM closed down pretty quickly by PP

I love your posts, Sandman77. Your intelligence always shines through. Who doesn't wish he could earn as much as 500 baht a day?

Oh please ! ........I mean, c'mon, really, seems like yet another post made by someone with way too much time on there hands, or desperate !

OP, did you get this idea from the Walen seminar?

Let us know how it all goes for you.

Yes, they do monitor account activities and sometime freeze accounts if there is what they consider unusual activity.

Aside from that and considering the improbability any novice is going to play currencies profitably, PayPal is designed to make money for PayPal. If they don't freeze the accounts, they'll hammer you with fees.

too complicated for me

If you have a plan to make money off of corporations, and have lots of money to invest, call the casinos in Las Vegas. They will send the corporate jet to pick you up. No charge if the your credit line pans out.

maybe better just set up a charity website with some info about yourself and a "donate here" link to your paypal account

They would freeze your account in a heart beat, tying up your cash for months, they are very cautious of anything to do with Thailand
