melsnet
Sorry post meant to say Are there any company’s in Pattaya providing a service for getting the letter for you?
KittenKong
At least two of the widely advertised visa companies do this. I think they charge about 500B on top of the fee for the letter.
NanLaew
Only 500 baht? That's well worth saving the hassle of a trip to Bangkok to get the letter personally. I assume that you present all the proof paperwork, statements, etc., to the agency and they do the presentation but I assume that the Embassy would want to sight the letter applicants passport, copy thereof or some other ID? KittenKong
If you use one of the visa companies then I imagine you have to give them the originals/copies of everything you would normally take yourself. Best thing is to ask them.
pontious
I think one company is 600 Baht and the other one is 300 Baht. You do not have to travel to Bangkok, you can do it by post which is current cost of letter plus 100 Baht EMS back. Details on what you send are on the website. For the hassle I would go for the 300Baht.
scotsman
I just did it a few days ago sent a copy of my passport face page and a copy of your pension income and a copy of your address. Then you get a money order or postal order for 2395 baht made out to the British embassy cashed at nana post office. I also put in a letter informing them what I wanted and post to them by ems 3 days later I got my letter. regards Scotsman
scotsman
Just a small Correction in what I said you have to give them the original pension income information not a copy sorry for that. regards scotsman
chris2004
I used the visa firm that is (or was) located on Soi LK Metro. It was a great service, quick and only cost 300 baht. Highly recommended.
