This forum is not so different to others on the net. In fact I'd say it's considerably less acerbic than some other forums (fora?) I comment on. The majority of posters here are basically friendly and helpful, albeit with a dark sense of humour sometimes. As long as he's not one of the easily offended, he'll be fine.
