The waste, Jimmy posted hasn't materialised out of thin air.

If one discarded styrofoam is spotted, the threshhold to add another, is lowered.

On this very subject, and I'm sure I'm not the only one interested, do any of you trash experts know how trash is dealt with in LOS.

Landfill? Incineration? Dumped at sea? Recycling?

It's probably a region by region thing but I am genuinely interested

Good question.

This is partly the reason why I started this thread.

Apparently a logistially sound trash colletion system has been implemented in the main cities.

However in the rural areas trash, in the name of the word really does not exist because everyone recycles everything that's worth something.

Plastic wrappers and soiled bags cannot really be sold in the villages and they are littered or burned at anyplace people take no notice....

I am curious to read more experiences here.
