Is this the Liquid Smoke in small (and very expensive) bottles? I used to get this in Australia and have looked here but haven't seen it so far - totally forgot to get it when in Aus earlier this year.

It really makes a difference to the taste of steaks (and, strangely, to mushy peas when you can't get bacon bones - something else I haven't seen but are surely available).

I purchased mine at Villa's in Bangkok, was a little expensive for such a small bottle.

Amazon.com had a sale going a few years ago and you had to buy a 3 pack of 1 liter bottles for about the same price of 2 of those small bottles, so I ordered them sent to my brother's and had him send me one and hold the rest. I'm still working on the first liter after 7 years.

This was the 'Wright's' brand..............the inventor of liquid smoke.

no more small bottles for me.
