Bangkok Bank checking #, ACH & US $$

Posted a related thread on why my penny deposits to my BB were not going thru. Turns out that i need a BB checking #, which i do not have. Have a savings # only. No statement on BB website mentions checking # but my USA bank certainly does say 'only checking #, not savings'.

Went to local BB to open checking # and was told checking #' for Thai people only or business'; not available to ordinary farangs. But many guys on TV said that they are using this service to good advantage and now i must ask if all these guys have a checking # or WHAT THE H*LL IS GOING ON?

You Americans using the ACH, BB and US bank, how are you handling this conundrum?

I received many times money on my BB savings account. I recall that I got money from Germany and Sweden, but surely from some other countries as well.

I would say your US bank is the problem.

If I recall right (I am not sure on that but I think it is true) our company bank account is also a savings account.
